Jocelyne Aird-Bélanger majored in education and communications at the University of Montreal and in painting and drawing at Montreal School of Fine Arts. She has been awarded grants form the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec and Canada Council for the Arts. She had sixteen solo exhibitions in Quebec and France and participated in numerous exhibitions nationally and internationally.

For more than twenty years, she was director of Atelier de l'Île , a collective contemporary printmaking studio in Val-David, Quebec. In 2002, she received an Award for artistic creation in recognition of her work and achievements in the Laurentians. She has been on the board of the Canadian Book Binders and Book Artists Guild -CBBAG , since 2008.

In her works (prints, artist books, paintings or collages), she tries to express the reality hidden behind the surface of things and to seize in images, the infinite, touching complexity of life.
